Animator vs. Animation 2

You'll Love Stick Man once you watch this video. I had to wait for such a long time for his comeback in Episode 2 .

Here's Episode 1 for those who haven't already seen it.

List of Various Sites With Free Wallpapers

Here's a great collection of wallpapers that users uploaded in Flickr.

Another one that hosts free wallpapers is interfacelift.com. This site offers an extensive collection of high quality wallpapers to choose from. It'll also let you choose the wallpaper in various native resolution so that it would fit your screen properly without having to stretch or resize. The resolutions include Widescreen (16:9), Full Screen (4:3), Full Screen (5:4), HDTV (both versions), Dual Monitors and have even got the resolution for Mobile Device, particularly iPhone.

Mandolux is yet another one worth checking out. This site also lets you download the wallpaper in the resolution you are looking for. If you are from Cincinnati or if you are fan of Cincinnati Reds then you might want to check out this wallpaper from this site.

This is the era of socialization, I mean virtually. So why should an activity of wallpapering be left behind when the people are sharing just about anything digital these days? Social Wallpapering is gaining hype these days and promises some of the finest wallpapers. As the name suggests, the site lets its viewers rate the displayed wallpapers and sort them out according to their popularity.

Now that I have these I'm going to change my boring default wallpaper that shipped with Windows XP right away.

If Microsoft Built Cars.....

1. Every time they repainted the lines on the road you would have to buy a new car.

2. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason, and you would just accept this, restart and drive on.

3. Occasionally, executing a maneuver would cause your car to stop and fail and you would have to re-install the engine. For some strange reason, you would accept this too.

4. You could only have one person in the car at a time, unless you bought "CarVista" or "Car2k3" Group Licence. But, then you would have to buy more seats..

5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was much more reliable, five times as fast, twice as easy to drive - but would only run on 10 percent of the roads.

6. The Macintosh car owners would get expensive Microsoft upgrades to their cars, which would make their cars run much slower.

7. The oil, gas and alternator warning lights would be replaced by a single "general car default" warning light.

8. New seats would force everyone to have the same size butt.

9. The airbag system would say "are you sure?" before going off.

10. If you were involved in a crash, you would have no idea what happened.

11. We'd all have to switch to Microsoft (tm) Gas.

A guy came home one day after getting fired ...

A guy came home one day after getting fired from work. He was so depressed that he decided to end it all and kill himself.
He went to the medicine cabinet, pulled out a bottle and began to swallow a handful of Prozac pills he found there.

After the first few he felt a lot better.

Hillarious SNL Clip Starring Jim Carrey

I Stumbled Upon a Beautiful Music Video on Youtube

This following song is sang by an artist, Terra Naomi, who became popular in the virtual world in very short period (She joined Youtube just on Feb 23,2006 - although she attained a music school and was musically involved before her youtube career). I believe that she'll soon be famous both online as well as offline. For more of her videos follow this link.

For now enjoy listening to Say it's Possible by Terra.

Lyrics taken from the comment section of her video.

I SEE THE LIGHTS ARE TURNING
AND I LOOK OUTSIDE THE STARS ARE BURNING
THROUGH THIS CHANGING TIME
IT COULD HAVE BEEN ANYTHING WE WANT
IT'S FINE SALVATION WAS JUST A PASSING THOUGHT.

DON'T WAIT ACT NOW
THIS AMAZING OFFER WON'T LAST LONG
IT'S ONLY A CHANCE TO PAVE THE PATH WE'RE ON
I KNOW THERE ARE MORE EXCITING THINGS TO TALK ABOUT
AND IN TIME WE'LL SORT IT OUT

AND THOUGH THEY SAY IT'S POSSIBLE TO ME
I DON'T SEE HOW IT'S PROBABLE
I SEE THE COURSE WE'RE ON
SPINNING FARTHER FROM WHAT I KNOW
I'LL HOLD ON
TELL ME THAT YOU WON'T LET GO
TELL ME THAT YOU WON'T LET GO

AND TRUTH IS SUCH A FUNNY THING
WITH ALL THESE PEOPLE
KEEP ON TELLING ME
THEY KNOW WHAT'S BEST
AND WHAT TO BE FRIGHTENED OF
AND ALL THE REST ARE WRONG
THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT US

AND THOUGH THEY SAY IT'S POSSIBLE TO ME
I DON'T SEE HOW IT'S PROBABLE
I SEE THE COURSE WE'RE ON
SPINNING FARTHER FROM WHAT I KNOW
I'LL HOLD ON
TELL ME THAT YOU WON'T LET GO
TELL ME THAT YOU WON'T LET GO

I'M NOT ALRIGHT...

THIS COULD BE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
COMBINE OUR LOVE INTO SOMETHING WONDERFUL
BUT TIMES ARE TOUGH I KNOW
AND THE PULL OF WHAT WE CAN'T GIVE UP TAKES HOLD

(c) Terra Naomi 2006

Update:
She became the most subscribed musical artist on youtube by the end of 2006.

Just Read This Quote And Wanted To Share With You

"Take everything you like seriously, except yourselves."

If we could properly apply this knowledge into our daily life, we'll be able to reduce our trouble at least by 50%, if not more. Because more than half of the problems are actually imaginary built upon our complex way of thinking which directs trouble to oneself. So I think being able to find humor at the time of crisis is healthy no matter how absurd it looks to the second person not involved in the situation.

Since simplicity is the theme of this post I'm going to recommend to you a book to read. Its called "Who Moved My Cheese?". The book is written in a simple language and is thin compared to most of the books found in the market. But it has got tons of advices and tries to make its point by illustrating simple facts of life through its really simple storyline. Go get the book before I end up telling everything about it myself.

The Pictures of Places in India Where I've Travelled

I stumbled upon the website which hosted some cool pictures of the places I visited in India during my college tour. I've been to Goa and Bangalore both of which are excellent for tourists and are popular due to their originality. You could literally spend months and never get tired just chilling in the beaches of Goa. Although these are few of the places where I've been,
I am still searching for the quality pictures of other places that I've visited during the tour like Mumbai (a.k.a. Bombay), Puttaparthi (Birthplace of Siddhi Sai Baba - who is considered to be reincarnation of Hindu Lord Shiva).

Ozzfest 2006

Yesterday I attended Ozzfest 2006 that took place in Columbus, OH. It was awesome. There's no words to define it. I was speechless yesterday to see my favorite bands play couple of feet away (4th row from the stage). The concert policy didn't permitted anyone to take digital camera. Just before Disturbed began playing I managed to get a disposable one from one of the stalls (phew they were expensive) they had out there.

You can find some pictures here although they didn't came out to be any good in print.

Some New/Old Hi-Res Pictures

Here's the link to my Picassa Web Album from where you can gain access to Hi-Definition pics that I posted in this site. I'm sorry that all the pictures so far has got visible date on them.

Taking landscape pictures is my hobby. I love taking pictures of outdoors and nature and would like to capture the scene when its most beautiful (like during the evening when the hue of the sky is just perfect). I'd like to take my interest on photography more seriously and would like to promote it to the next level.
